Cyclone Mocha hit the coast near Cox's Bazar and Sittwe Port in Bangladesh with a speed of 200 km before 12:00 noon local time. Due to the cyclone, storms have wreaked havoc in Bangladesh.

On the other hand, due to Mocha cyclone, western India is scorching due to severe heat wave. Cyclone 'Mocha' is wreaking havoc in two neighboring countries, India and Bangladesh, in different ways.

Due to Cyclone Mocha, a severe heat wave has started in North-West, West, and Central India. The temperature rose to 46 degrees Celsius. The weather department has warned that Bengal will also be under the grip of heat. After the landfall of 'Mocha', Bengal (West Bengal) is in danger of being hit by the heat.

According to the sources of the Meteorological Department, Cyclone 'Mocha' is gradually increasing in strength and has hit the Bangladesh-Myanmar coast. The Meteorological Department says that as a general rule, all the air is being pulled towards 'Mocha'. As a result, the wind speed has increased in this country too and the hot air coming from Pakistan is advancing through Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and other states of India. This has increased the outbreak of heat in these states.

Impact of Cyclone Mocha, temperatures rise in many parts of India

On this day, mercury has reached 46 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. In other parts of Rajasthan, the temperature has been around 45 degrees Celsius. For example, the temperature in Burma has reached 45.7 degrees Celsius. In Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, the temperature has been around 40 degrees.

On the other hand, the Alipore Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the mercury is slightly low in Bengal, but it will increase from Monday. According to the sources of the weather office, Cyclone Mocha is near the coast of neighboring Bangladesh. It is raining there. Because of this, the clouds have entered West Bengal as well. As a result, the temperature of the entire state including Kolkata is slightly lower.

The weather department says that however, after the landfall of 'Mocha', the clouds will clear from the skies of the state. The Alipore Meteorological Department has warned that the temperature will rise and the western parts of the state will remain under heat. Although Bengal has clearly escaped from Cyclone 'Mocha', but the indirect effect has remained in the entire country including West Bengal.
